A Scary, but Blessed Week + Menu Plan

Hello dear friends.
We have had a crazy week and a half around here. My brother-in-law lives just a few houses down from me. We can see his house from ours. It is nice, we are able to help each other and see each other pretty regularly.
Friday night my husband and I woke up to the sound of sirens and a loud explosion. My brother-in-laws house had caught on fire. Thankfully everyone was able to get out of the house ok, but boy was it very scary. They are now staying in a hotel room and with 4 children this is quite a challenge.
They have needed quite a bit of help with laundry and the children, so it has been a little busier than normal around here.
I am so thankful that we were in a position to where we could help them. God really does work in amazing ways. We were supposed to be living out at the land already, but a few things held us up. If we were out there we would not have been able to help out the same. I thank God that He works things out the way that He knows is best!
I hope that you all have had a wonderful week!

A Study of Jesus Through the Eyes of Luke

The Book of Luke is one of my favorite books of the Bible. There are two reasons for this:
It is about my wonderful Jesus.
I love the story behind the story.
You see, Luke was a physician, a man of science, and it is believed that he was actually a Gentile. He was also a friend to Theophilus and an unbeliever.

Good Morning My Friends!
