The Plans We Make

The Plans We MakeHappy Wednesday!

Things rarely ever go the way we planned them out in our head.

Sometimes, even though we don’t know it, it is a blessing and sometimes it can be a huge nuisance. But if we stop for just a minute, even in the crazy moments that are a nuisance, we can find joy and we can find beauty and peace. Continue reading

Happy Memorial Day + Menu Plan Monday

Happy Memorial Day!!

There are certain men and women who have a courage beyond anything that I could ever comprehend. Today we celebrate and remember those men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, their lives for our freedom. This country is free for two reasons: the grace of our Heavenly Father and men and women who are on the front lines fighting for that freedom.

We would not be he country that we are without them. I thank them, their families, and the God who gives strength and courage. I thank God for them and that I live in a country where I am free to serve the God I love and free to exact my beliefs in my life. Continue reading

Why Complaining is Killing your Joy…

Why complaining is killing your joyThis morning I was reading a devotional by Margaret Feinberg, I came across a very interesting concept. • Psalm 34:14
  • Psalm 39:1
  • Proverbs 10:20
  • Proverbs 12:19
  • James 1:26
  • James 3:5
  • James 3:8

There are 39 verses in my Concordance about the tongue. Continue reading

Our First Week in the Camper + MPM

So we have been in the camper for a little over a week now. It has definately had its ups and downs all ready! We are so happy to finally be out here and is it so beautiful and peaceful! It is also a huge change for us, that I know will have bumps that we will have to work through.

The very first test was the dogs. You can read about that in this story, it was nuts!!! We have already sprung two leaks that hubby had to fix, which resulted in a cool bath on night. And while we do have a window AC unit, our awning is broken. This makes for HOT afternoons! Sheesh, it would have to be 96 degrees our first week! Continue reading
