Refresh and Refuel + Menu Plan

Happy Monday Morning!

We had such a blessed weekend that helped me to refuel for the week ahead! On Saturday we got started working on the siding for the cabin! Oh my goodness, it is so exciting to be able to do this part ourselves. It is going to be hard work, but oh so beautiful.

All three of us worked on it, and actually had a really good time. I love some good work!

Sunday we took our rest day by heading out to the Chatooga River. In places of such beauty it is easy to see how much the Father loves us! It was exactly what I needed! (I have a pretty busy week planned this week).

This country is teeming with beauty and wonder. Check out your local state parks, go for a hike, go fishing in a river, look for rocks with the kidoes. Get outside for a little while and breathe in the fresh air. Refresh yourselves so that you can pour into others throughout the week.

About The Quiet Homemaker

He entrusted them into my care and I want to please Him by caring for them in a way that brings Him glory. I want to show them a quiet and peaceful life, where they work with their hands and tend to their own affairs and then reap the rewards of a job well done. The best way to show them this is through my example. Read More…
